Pignotti Property Inspections began in 1988 as a Chicago-based,
family-owned business with a background in construction project management, remodeling and architecture. 2009
is Pignotti Property Inspections 21st year of service. All types of structures are reviewed including single-family
homes, townhouses, condominiums and multi-unit buildings. New construction property inspections have increased over
the past few years as clients are recognizing that new does not necessarily mean quality workmanship or that it has been properly
reviewed by the municipal inspector. Additional services include mold and radon testing and consultations.
Ninety percent of PPI's work stems from referrals. Satisfied clients, realtors and attorneys have been recommending
PPI's services for years. The service vicinity is the Chicago metropolitan area. Most inspections are in the
west and southwest suburbs but other inspected properties are located in Evanston, Hoffman Estates, Aurora, Joliet and Glenwood.
The inspection process is informative and clients often conclude it was a fun experience. They are provided
a comprehensive report which is clear and easy to understand. It identifies the deficiencies and clients also gain understanding of how systems
and components interact. Many routine maintenance repairs are also discussed.
All inspections comply with
the American Society of Home Inspectors’ Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics . PPI inspectors are state licensed, members of ASHI, the Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI and FREA .
Pignotti Property Inspections is an independent and unbiased organization. The goal is to complete an objective
evaluation and present a well-documented report so our clients can make an informed decision. We hope you join us.
Sincerely,
