Attic insulation too close chimney pipe. This condition a fire risk.		Does this really need an explanation?
Rust indicates back drafting and flue not secured - both are safety issues.		Gas supply line should not cross in front of appliance.
Severe case of efflorescence.		Flat roof well past the replacement date.
Cut utility meter tag.		Deteriorated flashing. This roof was leaking in the attic below.
Poorly supported beam at edge of concrete support column.		Chimney cap needing reapirs.
Pipe corrosion.		Gas leak (black), kinked line (white) and this flex copper is not ok for gas use nor should it pass through a wall (blue).
Crushed bath vent in attic. Poorly sloped too.		Nails should not be exposed on roof surfaces but if so they should have a water tight seal.
Discharge pipe too short and bottom should not be threaded.		Double tapped breaker and aluminum wiring.
Leaking condensate drain line for airconditioning system.		Not the best way to support a plumbing line.
Excessive length dryer vent.		This black hose was being used as a gas line.
Another poorly supported beam.		Missing bushing. This is an electrical safety hazard.
This electrical panel was loosely attached to these scarp pieces of wood at the top and unsupported at the bottom.		These "electric eyes" should be mounted at the base of the door on each side. This is not the way to maximize safety.
A downspout cut to size and used as a water heater flue.		No overhang on roof shingle. This roof was leaking in the garage.
Water filled gutter - the slope was reversed ang there was a tennis ball stuck in the downspout.		How do you inspect this space?
A little pipe corrosion.		This is the air supply duct to the 2nd bedroom - there was no air entering the space because it collapsed on itself.
Soffit vent blocked by careless insulation installer.		Damaged windows sill. Wall cavity saturating bricks from inside out.
Supports and bracing should never be cut.		Mold.
Broken fireplace damper.		Basement water leak.
No fire damping. A fire in this area can easily move to the upper floors.		Trapped moisture barrier.
